Hello, beautiful souls!
After much thought and reflection, I’ve decided to make some exciting changes to our boudoir group. This space has always been about celebrating self-love, empowerment, and the beauty of every woman’s unique journey. And now, it’s time to take that mission to the next level. I’ll soon be archiving the group and starting fresh with a new space that’s designed to be even more inclusive, engaging, and empowering. I know change can feel bittersweet, but let me explain why this shift is not only necessary but will ultimately bring so much more to our community. 1. A Chance to Showcase More of My Work Over the years, I’ve had the honor of capturing so many beautiful moments that celebrate confidence and vulnerability. However, social media censors can make sharing these moments challenging. Starting anew gives me the opportunity to reorganize my content, share my portfolio in a fresh way, and ensure more women can see what boudoir is all about. 2. Building a Stronger Community of Support One of my favorite parts of this group has always been the connection between members. Women supporting women is an unstoppable force, and in our new space, I want to foster even more of that. By creating a refreshed group, we’ll have a chance to re-engage with one another, welcome new members, and build an even stronger network of allies who lift each other up. 3. A Fresh Start for Better Visibility As many of you know, navigating social media algorithms and censorship can be tricky—especially when promoting body positivity and empowerment. By starting fresh, we’ll have a chance to create new posts and discussions that not only celebrate the art of boudoir but also stay visible and accessible to those who need to see it most. What’s Changing (and What’s Not) The heart of this group—the love, the support, the celebration of every woman—remains the same. The only thing changing is how we organize and present ourselves. This new space will be filled with the same positivity and empowerment that you’ve come to love, just with a refreshed energy and direction. How You Can Be Part of the New Chapter Once the new group is live, I’ll be sending out invites and sharing the link here before this group is archived. I would love for all of you to join me in this fresh start. Your presence is what makes this community so special, and I can’t wait to see all of you thrive in the new space. If you’ve been part of this journey for a while, thank you for your support, encouragement, and love. And if you’re new, welcome—you’re exactly where you need to be. This isn’t just a group; it’s a movement. It’s a celebration of women who refuse to let society dictate how they see themselves. It’s a safe space to share, grow, and cheer each other on. And it’s only the beginning. Let’s start fresh together. Here’s to more love, more empowerment, and a brighter future for our boudoir community. With so much gratitude and excitement, Kayleigh

Hi there, and welcome to my very first blog post about my boudoir photography journey! It feels like a big step putting my thoughts out here, but I’ve realized that it’s time to share more about what I do, why I do it, and the challenges I face as a boudoir photographer in today’s world.
Boudoir photography isn’t just my job—it’s my passion. I create a safe space for women to celebrate their bodies, rediscover their confidence, and see themselves in a new, empowering light. But there’s something important I want to talk about that’s impacting not just me, but the entire boudoir photography community: social media censorship. The Censorship Struggle Social media platforms are a vital tool for small business owners like me. They allow us to connect with clients, share our work, and educate people about what boudoir photography really is—an art form that celebrates individuality and self-love. However, many platforms have strict community guidelines that often misinterpret boudoir photography as inappropriate or even explicit content. Even the most tasteful, artful boudoir images—images that are no more revealing than a swimsuit ad or a fitness photo—can be flagged, shadowbanned, or removed. This not only limits my ability to share my work but also perpetuates the misconception that boudoir photography is something taboo or shameful. Why It Matters This isn’t just about my business; it’s about the message I’m trying to share. Boudoir photography isn’t about objectification—it’s about empowerment. Every client I work with comes into the studio with their own story, struggles, and insecurities. My goal is to help them walk out feeling strong, confident, and radiant. When social media censors our work, it silences that message. It hides the stories of women who’ve reclaimed their self-worth through boudoir. It limits how many people I can reach with a message of self-love and body positivity. Moving Forward So, what can we do? For me, this blog is a start. It’s a way to share my voice and my vision in a space where I can be uncensored and authentic. I want this to be a place where I can show you what boudoir is really about and why it matters so much. To my clients, followers, and supporters: thank you for being here. Your encouragement means the world to me and keeps me pushing forward, even when it feels like the odds are stacked against us. If you’ve ever thought about booking a boudoir session, let this be your sign to go for it. And if you’re curious but nervous, reach out—I’m here to answer your questions and make you feel at ease. Together, we can celebrate self-love and break through the barriers of censorship, one image—and one story—at a time. With love and gratitude, Kayleigh <3 |
